About the Dolphin
Dolphins are aquatic mammals that are closely related to whales and porpoises. There are almost forty species of dolphin
in seventeen genera. The smallest dolphin is Maui's Dolphin, the largest is the Orca or Killer Whale. The
common dolphin is widely distributed in temperate, sub-tropical and tropical waters throughout the world.
